10 DIRT
грязь, как и у нас, в прямом и переносном смысле. Слово многозначное, но всегда подразумевающее, что тут нет ничего хорошего. Сплетня, непристойность, что-то вульгарное - это все тоже будет dirt. Прилагательное, соответственно, dirty. В применении к человеку или бизнесу обычно обозначает связь с криминалом.Dirtbag — нехороший человек = crud, scumbag. Дословно - мешок с дерьмом.
Dirt road — абсолютно нормальное выражение (грязных дорог навалом), имеющее однако и второе значение. "Driving on the dirt road" = anal sex. Фантазия народа богата, но всегда как-то сводится к небольшому кругу тем.
Dirty deed — то самое "дурное дело", про которое у нас говорят, что оно "нехитрое", а также "этим самым" заниматься.
